Separating Fact from Fiction
ODEC constantly strives to provide our partners - the people in the communities in which it owns, operates and/or is planning electric generation stations - with the accurate and factual information they need in order to make informed decisions.
In an effort to address misleading and, in many instances, inaccurate information, ODEC presents the following factual, third-party information about health, costs, the need for the Cypress Creek Power Station project and ODEC’s status as a not-for-profit organization. This information is derived from numerous sources, including federal and state regulatory agencies, as well as leading scientific and engineering sources, that address such misleading claims.
